Luxor's Floor Performance Course Offering Approved by the Architectural Institute of British Columbia.

Luxor Industrial Corporation is pleased to announce that the Architectural Institute of British Columbia (AIBC) has accepted its "How to Control Wood Frame Floor Performance" as a Core Program in the AIBC's Continuing Education Program. This program will provide Luxor a platform to share its Floor Performance expertise with design professionals. In doing so Luxor can communicate more cost effective floor design standards (such as use less wood) and floor performance recommendations so that architects can meet their customers specified floor performance standard at the lowest cost. Luxor anticipates an ongoing increase in IBS 2000® sales as its message continues to reach a broader audience of design professionals.

AIBC is a professional association representing more than 600 registered architects in British Columbia. AIBC's acceptance of the program allows Luxor to offer AIBC member architects 2 Core Learning Units toward the 8 Core Units required annually for professional accreditation. The AIBC will promote Luxor's presentation sessions and publish a course overview in its newsletter.

The incentive of earning Learning Units will provide Luxor with a willing audience for its 2-hour program on Floor Performance. The theme of the program, "Don't Let Poor Floor Performance Ruin a Good Design" encourages the architect to specify a floor performance rating as a guideline to engineers and other floor system designers. The program leads the architect through floor system components including the benefits of Luxor's patented IBS 2000® Load Sharing Connectors and IBS 2000® Floor Navigator performance analysis software.
