Luxor Reports First Quarter Results - Posts Small Profit

Luxor Industrial Corporation is pleased to report sales for the three month period ending March 31, 2009 were $349,025 compared to $253,177 for the same period of 2008.

The profit for the three month period ending March 31, 2009 was $2,567 compared to a loss of $38,509 for the same period of 2008.

The Company is exposed to the current economic down turn which has had a significant effect on residential housing in the United States and Canada. Sales of Luxor's lead product, IBS2000®, were (and are being) impacted by the down turn while sales of other products were up significantly.

The Company is pursuing the retrofit market. During this decade bigger homes were built with larger rooms, in many cases with sub-par construction. This has resulted in many floor performance problems. The simplest and most cost effective solution to eliminate a bouncy or shaky floor is to use a row of the IBS2000®. The Company is using Web 2.0 marketing to get this message out and has started receiving numerous inquiries.

The Company is also pursuing the renovation market for the IBS2000®. Many homeowners are doing renovations as they are unable or unwilling to buy new homes.
